My Go-To Drinks at the Bar

Ever since I turned 21, I've discovered a handful of drinks I genuinely enjoy ordering out or mixing up at home. Here's a rundown of my favorites, organized by category.

Mixed Drinks

Tequila Sunrise

Tequila is my spirit of choice, even if most people around me feel differently. If you're a fellow tequila fan, this drink is a solid pick. It blends tequila, orange juice, and grenadine syrup, finished with an orange slice and/or a cherry.

Vodka Cranberry

It's about as simple as it gets: vodka and cranberry juice. I'm a big fan of cranberry juice, and this makes a nice lighter choice.

Whiskey Ginger

Whiskey paired with ginger ale. I don't order it often, but when I'm feeling bold, it really does the trick.

Beer

  • Corona — a pale lager, and I love it with a lime, of course.
  • Blue Moon — a Belgian white beer.
  • Coors Light — a light lager.
  • Budlight — a light lager.

Wine

Reggae Red is a sweet red wine and usually my pick when I'm out.

BayBridge caught my eye on a grocery run — at only $3 I was skeptical, but I tried it anyway and it turned out great! I typically go for the Pinot Grigio (a white wine grape) or the White Zinfandel (a dry-to-sweet pink rosé).
